Class Notes 9/7

Today in Stats we went over the syllabus and the AP contract and went over the class expectations. We also went over the summer packet and then performed an exercise that helped us simulate a study that was done involving Swimming with Dolphins and whether or not that improves happiness. The original study showed that 10 of 15 people who swam with dolphins improved emotionally. We wanted to know how likely that result was.

Homework due Friday 9/9:
  • The signed page from the syllabus,
  • the signed AP contract and also,
  • the summer packet.

Summer Reading

Incoming AP Stats students, below you will find links to the first two chapters of the Stats text book. These two chapters were missing from the packet that you should have already looked at. After the reading you should then be able to complete the questions at the end of the packet. If you are having trouble viewing these pages please contact me right away and we will figure out a way to get you the reading.

Best,

Mr. Schroth
