Class Notes 1/27

Today's class covered the beginning of Probability. We talked about the basics of probability, saw how we can use events to help us understand the difference between theoretical probability and empirical probability. Theoretical is what we think the probability is (50-50 chance of getting a heads or tails when flipping a coin) compared to empirical (conducting trials, and seeing what the probability is from all of your trials combined not one group actually got 50% heads or tails).

We then worked on either the homework/group projects.
