Today in class we took our Confidence Interval and Hypothesis Testing Quiz.

Homework: Read Chapter 22.

Class Notes 3/22

The first portion of today's class was focused on attempting an AP free response question in a timed fashion and then going over that question.

We then finished our chapter 21 notes on hypothesis testing wisdom. We talked about the Power of a hypothesis test and how reducing a Type I error increases a Type II error as well as the other way around. We also discussed that in order to decrease both a Type I and Type II error is to increase the sample size.

The students then worked on a few questions from the book.

Today in class we started our coverage of Hypothesis testing. We worked on a few examples together in class. We created null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis and saw how to approach these types of questions.

Today in class we finished our notes on Confidence Intervals. We talked about what a margin of error is and how to calculate that. We also used our calculators in order to create confidence intervals.
